Royal Gaitor

The Royal Gaitor is a collection of tombs belonging to the royal family of Jaipur. Situated just below the Nahargarh Fort, this attraction is just a short drive away from the city. The monument complex contains statues of some of the greatest kings of Jaipur like Maharaja Madho Singh II, Maharaja Jai Singh II and Pratap Singh. The Royal Gaitor is entirely made up of marbles and showcases brilliant mastery of Rajputana architecture.

Birla Mandir

Also known and the Laxmi Narayan Temple, this could be considered as the most stunning temple in the entire city of Jaipur. With huge domes, marble sculptures and stained windows depicting the relics of ancient mythology, this amazing monument is a great example of craftsmanship. One half of the temple is also a museum, offering a glimpse into the glorious past of the city.

Nahargarh Fort

Reminiscent of the city’s glorious past, this 18th century monument is the symbol of Rajputana power. This massive fort once served as the home to the royals and is perched high on the hills of the Aravalli Range, providing a fantastic view of the entire city. Its massive walls surrounds the entire city and the main fort complex is filled with beautifully-crafted temples, meeting halls and courtyards.

Albert Hall Museum

This colonial museum was constructed in 1876 in honor of Prince of Wales. Inspired from London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, it was designed by a British architect, Samuel Swinton Jacob. The museum exhibits a huge array of miniature paintings, Indian arts and crafts, royal portraits, musical instruments, coins, sculptures, carpets and arms and ammunitions.

Amber Fort

This majestic looking fortress on the top of the Aravalli Range was once the main home to the royal family. The architecture of the fort is a combination of Hindu and Muslim styles consists of several palaces, courtyards, temples and gardens. The entire fort is lit during evenings, which makes it even more stupendous.
